ADHESIVE and WET LABELS, round, square and odd shapes.
Also for A4-LASER LABELS, FOLDING BOXES and LIDS.
With the appearance of in-mould substrates of 5/100 mm up, the need for a special
stacker became pressing. Over 25 years Automation designed stackers for many
purposes; the IML-Stacker was the natural new challenge.
The odd shapes of IML-labels, the flimsy material and the disturbing static electricity
required a quite different stacker concept.
Immediately upon die-cutting the in-mould labels are peeled away from the web and
taken by the sandwich belt section. One-by-one or overlapped, the main conveyor
secures the save flow to the stacking station with electronic joggers and descending
stack table, for up to 12 cm high straight packs.
The latest static elimination with adjustable nozzles is an essential factor for the
streamlined operation of the IML-2 Stacker.
The IML-2 Stacker is made for hook up to most label presses and is adapted to the
width, height and gear ratio of the leading machine.
The LABB-2 CONVERTER is available as an off-line system to run in-mould labels
and other odd-shaped products from PREPRINTED ROLLS.
The LABB-2 is variable size by exchange of the die-cut cylinder, servo driven,
register controled.
The standard web width is 45 cm to produce one and more streams.
The IML-2 STACKER is a standard component of the LABB-2 CONVERTER.
